Blackhawks initiate Toews from injured reserve


The Chicago Blackhawks declared today that they had begun forward Jonathan Toews from injured reserve.

Toews, 28, enrolled four goals and eight assists with 21 games for the Blackhawks this season before being set on injured reserve on Dec. 2. The Winnipeg, Manitoba, local positions tenth on the Blackhawks unequaled scoring list with 576 career points (255G, 321A) in 666 professions NHL games.
