UK premier David Cameron has defied apologizing Donald Trump who is the Nominee for Presidential Elections by the Republican party for his remarks about Trump “Stupid, Divisive and Wrong”. Advisor of Mr. Trump said that he is the nominee for presidential elections. Mr. Cameron should make an apology for calling him “Stupid and Divisive”.
Cameron has voted against the ban on Trump. He said in parliament “I think his remarks are divisive, stupid and wrong. If he came to visit our country, I reckon he would unite us all against him.”
When remarks were made by British premier, Trump was already dominating Republican and his chances of being candidate for the said seat were most likely.
Trump’s advisor on foreign policy Mr. George Papadopoulos suggested that Cameron and Trump’s friendship is in the best interest of both countries. He further told time’s magazine “I can’t speak directly for him but it would seem that if Prime Minister Cameron is serious about reaching out, not only to Mr Trump’s advisers but to the man himself, an apology or some sort of retraction should happen.”
He further said that trump would welcome if he is invited to the UK.
As for now, it doesn’t seem Mr. Cameron will make an apology on his remarks about Mr. Trump. Mr. Cameron’s Spokesperson said “The PM has no intention of withdrawing his comments, which were made in response to comments that Donald Trump made calling for a ban on Muslims entering the US. That was the context for the PM’s comments.”
