“WHAT DO YOU see?” That’s a question outlined in the primary trailer for this current December’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi—and trust us, you’ll need to watch the above clip a lot of times, just to take everything in. Grabbing the latest relevant point of interest, the Rian Johnson-coordinated Last Jedi unmistakably concentrates on the connection between the now-grizzled Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and the upstart Rey Westilldontknowherlastname (Daisy Ridley). In the trailer, we look as Rey steps toward completely understanding the Force—in one important shot, she rehearses her lightsaber abilities on a bluff sitting above the ocean—and we tune in as Luke advises her the “one truth” about the eventual fate of the Jedi.
But, there’s bounty all the more beautiful Star Wars symbolism to retain here, from a TIE-impacting Millennium Falcon to lightsaber-using Kylo Ren to a short shot of Carrie Fisher as the late General Organa. Goodness, and Finn’s here, as well! What’s more, Poe! What’s more, of course, the still-rolling’ BB-8! We’ll discover how they’re all faring in that world far, ffar away when Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens Dec. 15th.
