Joe Scarborough: Trump released his assessment forms as distraction

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough is blaming President Trump for releasing his 2005 assessment forms with an end goal to “distract from Russia hearings and the Trump care meltdown.”

“This one tax return is not bad for him because he cherry picked one return from over a decade ago and had it leaked to the press,” Scarborough tweeted Wednesday morning.

“The Trump camp released one positive tax return to distract from Russia hearings and the Trump care meltdown. That’s painfully obvious.”

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on Tuesday night discharged two pages from Trump’s 2005 government forms on air after columnist David Cay Johnston acquired them.

After Maddow had built up the show on Twitter, the White House discharged points of interest from a similar two pages of Trump’s 2005 expense forms, announcing that Trump paid $150 million in wage and paid $38 million in federal taxes in 2005.

The announcement likewise thumped MSNBC for “illegally” distributing the report.

Scarborough once had a well-disposed association with Trump. However, the two got to be antagonistic amid the presidential race, with Scarborough condemning Trump brutally and Trump reacting by deriding “Morning Joe” TV ratings.

Scarborough is off from the program this week. Trump is the primary president in decades not freely to discharge his tax returns.

Trump has previously said he would not release them while the IRS is examining him, yet the IRS has noticed that an audit would not keep anybody from releasing the information on their own.
