President Trump said that the storms that hit the US are improving the “Image” of the US Coast Guard.

Trump told a reporter that the nation had “awesome people” reacting to enormous thunderstorms and that “a group that truly deserves a huge credit is the US Coast Guard,” says a White House report.

“What they did – I mean, they went straight into that, and you never know, when you go there, they do not know in case you leave. The United States” said Trump.

Trump also called the Federal Emergency Management Agency “incredible” how Hurricane Irma landed in Florida on Sunday.

Trump’s remarks came after a Cabinet meeting at Camp David where he and other officials of the organization were briefed on Hurricane Irma.

Irma is the second major sea storm that has hit the US lately after Hurricane Harvey crashed Texas at the end of last month.
