Donald Trump lauded Newt Gingrich on Wednesday taking after his quarrelsome interview with Megyn Kelly, in which Gingrich blamed the Fox News grapple for being “fascinated with sex.”
“Congratulations, Newt, on last night. That was an amazing interview,” Trump said to the previous GOP Speaker, who was in the gathering of people for a lace cutting at Trump International Hotel in Washington.
“We don’t play games,” Trump included.
In the interview Tuesday evening, Gingrich batted down inquiries concerning ladies who have blamed Trump for grabbing them and the 2005 recording in which the GOP candidate gloats about having the capacity to kiss and grab ladies as a result of his big name.
“I am sick and tired of people like you using that language. That is inflammatory. That is not true,” Gingrich told Kelly.
Gingrich pointed his finger at the camera after Kelly utilized the expression “sexual predator” to depict the assertions against the GOP presidential chosen one.
“You are fascinated with sex, and you don’t care about public policy,” Gingrich said.
“You know what, Mr. Speaker? I am not fascinated by sex, but I am fascinated by the protection of women and understanding what we’re getting in the Oval Office,” Kelly countered.
Kelly wrapped up the warmed meeting by proposing that Gingrich takes a shot at his “outrage issues.”
